Hey Trudy, thank you for the Christmas card. Hope everything is well with your beautiful family. thought you might like to see the videos. The only day I have someone to video is the day he decides to take his time and then only do the things he likes the best on the course , Oh my. But here he is ! /sorry ears are so short , have to trim because he likes to walk around with them in his mouth like a pacifier, ha
Such a great dog and will give him a Red Bull next video HA. Tell me what you think. Oh that is a friend of mine handling him as I can not run on my leg, I want to so bad. its so much fun Merry Christmas to all Babs 🐾🐩

Hi Trudy,
Toby is growing fast. He has gone from 5 to 7 pounds. I will know more accurately next week when he goes for more shots. His favorite toy is a small tennis ball that he leaps and rolls onto when he catches it. He loves the bully sticks and eats and sleeps well. He has a lot of personality....... We love him
Thank you, Sarah
Hi Trudy
Dakota is doing well.
We just had her fixed and she rebounded from surgery wonderfully.
Well I can tell you she is my husband's shadow. She is the cuties dog in the development and we are always getting compliments on how cute she is. She really looks more like a sheep dog not a poodle.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.
Thank you

Hey Trudy!
Our Lizzie Belle (one of Spot's Nov. babies) is a pure delight! We registered her microchip the day she came home! It is hard to believe that she is almost 7 months old. Weighs 51 lbs and is almost as tall as her 5 year old part St. Bernard brother. She has been a perfect addition to our family! Will attach a picture taken today after her grooming appt.

Hi Trudy-
Thank you for checking back with us. I must say- benson is so so sweet. But I don't think we can actually ever call him little again. He is about 70 lbs. he doesn't like the tape measure (I know this because I just recently tried to measure his hind legs which still seem to be growing). Maybe 28"? Maybe more. Is he still growing? But everyone loves him. There has not been a single person or dog that he doesn't love.

Wanted to send you a recent update on Chile (photo attached) She is doing very well. Now 11 weeks old and 14lbs / 15" at the withers. She knows how to sit, stay, shake and lay down. She loves to sit on the porch and watch what is going on in the neighborhood. Also getting pretty good at fetching and returning. Super DOG !
Thanks..more updates to come !

Hi Trudy! Just a note to let you know how Annie is. She's well, s Here is a picture, she's 28lbs. now. At 5 months she is the calmest puppy I've ever had!!! Buttercup at her age had chewed every piece of furniture plus most of the baseboards, not Annie, she plays with her toys like a good girl. :-)

We wanted to wish you and your family a belated Happy New Year and give you an update on our puppy. Daisy is the puppy with the dark pink collar from Candy Apple and Romeo's little last year. We brought her home one year ago.
Daisy has been the best girl. She is sweet, loving and smart. She loves to play with people and dogs. She is very good and rarely gets into trouble. She is a fabulous addition to our family. People stop us all the time to tell us she is beautiful and ask where we got her. Thank you for breeding such wonderful standard poodles.
Hope that you and all of your family are well!

Here I am at five months old. I bet you can't recognize me! I'm Beckham and Scarlette's son and live in Warrenton with my family, Brian and Mary, Lizzie and Ben. When I go out on walks everyone wants to touch me! And I get lots of compliments on how hanesome I am. I'm a pretty happy fella and my family says I'm a keeper! Scarlett and Beckhams- F2B Goldendoodles in Florida

I wanted to send you photos of our Doodles. We are in love with them! My husband bought these Doodles from you as a gift to our family. It was a wonderful, welcome gift. We lost our Miniature Schnauzer of 13 years early in the year. I didn’t think I could love another dog as much as I did him, but the Doodles have proven that to be wrong. They bring so much joy and laughter into our home every day! What a blessing they are to our family!!! They went in for their 12 week visit at the vet today. Keegan (apricot/red) weighed in at a whopping 21 pounds. Murphy (cream) out did his brother at a whopping 23 pounds. The Blue Buffalo food is serving them well! Thank you for providing such beautiful puppies that bring so much joy!!!
Kindly,

She is adorable of course I am so glad and blessed to have her. She gives me something to look forward to on a daily basis especially when I am at work. She does not want for anything I spoil her unconditionally. She is so smart and observant like a person! LOL She is going to have her surgeries spade at end of month will be taken time off from work for her post-op. In my opinion you are #1 Breeder and I do inform individuals that inquire how I obtained Misty. Just wanted to say thanks and we will of course stay in contact.

Penny a Lisa/romeo puppy

Thought you would like this pic of the Seth girls. It was taken about a week ago over Spring Break. Penny is quite a big girl , about 15 1/2 lbs now, it seems she is taller every morning! And so smart... We wouldn't mind if those teeth were less sharp though, yikes...

Freedom- Cloe and PJ's 2012 puppy

I wanted to touch basis with you and let you know Freedom is amazing! He's my daughters service dog but I love him so much! I have never seen such a smart and pretty dog in my life!!! Dexter and Rory- 2 TLC poodles

Sorry it has taken so long to send pictures. Rory does have an interesting personality! He loves to explore and is very outgoing. He and Dexter get along very well - probably more due to Dexter's laid back personality, Dexter let's Rory take toys out of his mouth but will put Rory in his place as needed. It is so cute, when I return home from taking only Rory somewhere, Dexter checks him
all over then they lick each other's mouths. Thank you for another wonderful dog. Although we won't be in the market for another pup for quite a few years, I will enjoy watching the new litters on your
website. Best to you and your family, Primrose
Pedro Cloe / PJ 2012

I want to let you know that we absolutely love our new puppy, Pedro (aka. Moose). He fit right in the day we brought him home and it is like he has been with us for years! he is so loving and smart My husband and I take him to puppy class every Sat. now and he loves it!
He gets a little excited to be there but takes in everything. When we are home to practice with him he just knows the commands and does it! He can also "High Five" for treats. He is wornderful with other people, animals and very good with children.
When we first brought him home, I was taking him to work everyday to the store and he loved meeting all our customers. Unfortunately, I hurt myself and had to stop taking him for a couple of months. So Ken took over and he is now daddy's little boy. He adores him. Now that I am better I am taking him to work again and he loves it. When he is home we take him for long walks on the nature trail and he loves playing ball.
Your puppies are so wonderful and I know it is because of the wonderful care they had from you.
Cami has brought in her dog, Pete, several times to meet Pedro but keeps missing him. She ws in the store yesterday and finally got to meet Pedro. She was so excited and swears he is the image of Pete. Also, the Coster's brought in their puppy, Bob, to meet Pedro. Bob is a beautiful cream color that they bought from you. He is huge!!!
We hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy and healthy New Year!
Thank you for everything,
Ken, Susan and Pedro

Alex- Jenna and Pete's
4-10' Puppy

Have to tell you the latest about Alex. Alex now goes out in the morning
and checks over his territory (smells) to see who was around while he was
sleeping. We leave the back door almost closed and when he is ready to come in
he pushes it open and comes in. So I decided he needs to learn to close the door. About 2 weeks ago I started teaching him how to close the door. He knows what I want and just wasn't getting it closed tight. This morning he went behind the door which he does and pushes it with his nose. Now he has learned that if he leans against
the door and pushes with his body the door will go closed and that is what he did this morning. He is amazing. Now we have to think of something else to teach him.
Sunday evening while walking, a family saw him and wanted to pet him. They thougnt he was beautiful and loved him. We still are getting raves about him. He is a special dog and we love him so much. When he and Dar are out especially in the morning (Dar working in the garden) Alex is roaming around looking for
chimpmunks or whatever he smells, but he keeps coming back to check on Dar. He doesn't let us out of his sight. If I'm inside, he comes looking for me when he comes in. Also when I play the piano he lays down and goes to sleep. We are still working on the wanting to jump and give a kiss when he meets someone. He
sure loves people.
Thanks again for letting us have this wonderful dog. He still is a puppy to me.

Miley - Rosie and Reds puppy

“Miley” is doing great. She is such a sweetheart. Very intelligent! She doesn’t like her crate, but slowly adapting. Housebreaking has been going well, she actually barks at times when she has to go out, but then regresses with an accident, but very few. Unfortunately we had to leave her with my parents this week as we left for vacation. I know it wasn’t good timing but we had the house booked since January. So we have been relaxing in the Outer Banks this week as my parents are enjoying her company. I grew up with poodles, so my parents are the only people I trust would treat her like I would.
Miley has been an absolute joy that we have been missing since Samantha passed. The boys are having fun with her and understanding what puppies are all about. She has been busy going to baseball games, camping and meeting our friends and their dogs. She sleeps through the night after a normal busy day. People have been very complimentary as to how beautiful she is and how well she is mannered. During the day when I’m working she is my buddy, laying under my desk sleeping or waiting until I can give her a few minutes of
attention.
Next year she will be in the Outer Banks with us as we really miss her. We all joke about how she probably wishes she was back with your family as we seem to tire her out on a regular basis. So this week is
probably a vacation for her as she is just hanging out with my parents. We will be sure to send you some pictures when we get home as she is growing fast.

behaved. My groomer told me that they all fight over him during his
appointment. During our walks, everyone comes out of their houses to stop and visit with him. He is a magnet for children. He seems to instinctively know to be extra gentle with them. His wonderful color
always draws compliments as well. Thanks again for a wonderful dog who got the very best start in life thanks to you and your expertise. I would most highly recommend you. The love and support you offer are
invaluable. Sincerely, M. Brown

Happy 4th of July All our Friends

Hi Trudy
I wanted to take a few minutes to update you on our Remy Martin, from Peter the Great and Mystie Belle's litter of February 18, 2010. We are SO very proud of this young man! Remy is a celebrity in his own rights. We are always stopped by individuals asking if they can pet him and how handsome he is. Remy loves to hang his head out the car window when we're out for a drive (possibly to help direct the driver to the closest pet store or dog park) so he wears camo doggles to ensure no injury to his eyes. He is a stunning dog and we spoil him appropriately. We took Remy on his first mini-vacation over this past 4th of July to Washington DC and Annapolis. Of course, being the 4th of July, he was wearing his red, silver and white sparkler headband. I swear, he was the most photographed dog in DC that weekend. It was terribly hot that weekend and our granddaughter Lilly was in charge of keeping him hydrated. He LOVES drinking out of a squirt bottle when we're out and about, which is a great convenience for us. All the other poodle owners we met in Annapolis were equally impressed with Remy. We met a couple in Annapolis who had purchased their poodle from you about the same time we got Remy and they couldn't say enough about how wonderful their dog is as well. At home he's a neighborhood celebrity and walkers look forward to stopping and giving him a pet when we're out and about. Hope you noticed his beard! The groomer and I decided he looked distinguished with it and people stop us all the time to compliment his goatee. Again, Trudy, thank you SO much for your wonderful breeding program. Remy has been an absolute blessing to us. Keep up the great work!
Happy 1st Birthday
Midnight and Ganache

I wanted to drop you a brief note (wish it could be longer, but I must attend to these high maintenance boys!). We celebrated their First Birthday on December 15th and boy did they know it was a special day. We invited some of our very close friends who have been instrumental in Midnight and Ganache's first year on earth. We began with high tea, scones (clotted cream, lemon curd, the works), and finished with some champagne and a red velvet cake, which we allowed Midnight a tiny lick. It was truly a special day, and it filled my heart with so much to joy to witness the impact these boys have had not only on mine and Oliver's life, but how important they are to so many others. Friends showered them with lots of gifts and their favorite snack (Greek Yogurt...0% of course). They have truly captured the hearts of our friends and the entire neighborhood. There is not a place we don't go within a 2 mile radius of the city (which is huge) where they either haven't heard of them or seen them! It's a bit awkward for us sometimes because they know the dogs and their names but NOT US!
Christmas was also a blessing to have them near us. Santa brought them 2 new sweaters which Ganache cannot get enough of! We listened to Christmas Carols in the park and they were so well behaved the entire time. Recently, our dog walker has been out of town so we put them in day care where they are the main event...among other dogs and staff. I observe them via cam from work to ensure they are enjoying themselves and properly tended to.
Again, I thank you for giving us the gift of these two as they are and will always be foremost in my heart. I wish you and your lovely family a very happy holiday and a prosperous New Year!
SnowFlake Lisa and Alexander the Greats June 11'

Snowflake has been wonderful. My children love her very much. She has been traveling with us and bring joy to everyone in the family. Snowy sleeps through the night and rarely has accident. Thank you so much for your wonderful breeding...
Oliver From Misty and Goliath-6-11'

collar boy...we've named him Oliver. At his first vet appt. (the day after he came home), he weighed 11 pounds, five ounces. The following week, when he got first set of shots, he weighed 12 pounds, 15 ounces. He's growing well and had no intestinal parasites or worms, etc.
Ollie is a delight...he's very active, interested, and is socializing
extremely well with dogs, children, and older folks. He's been in many different environments, and has done very well. Sits on command, heels pretty well, still comes when called, although he recently discovered that he doesn't necessarily "have to." So, he's entering into the let's play chase phase.
Thank you so much for everything. I'll continue to send you
updates, especially as the service dog training progresses. In the meantime, attached is a picture taken today from my iPhone, a picture from last week, and two pictures from the day I picked him up from you.
PS: my parents neighbor has a standard poodle. We met while walking our dogs and I discovered that they got their dog Toby from you! He's from Misty and Peter the Great...he looks to be about 9-11 months old, I think. Small world,
eh?
Best, Mary
Misty and Goliath Son - 6-11'

I have had many puppies and dogs before, but the sharpness and attention this puppy has given me is amazing. The entire ride home he was "sizing me up". Focusing intently, reading my personna! So funny, he is attached to me now, can't leave his sight or he is crying and trailing after me.
I have attached pics of him with my daughter, she is helping him with his Nina Ottosson treat puzzle and his treat ball. He is SOOOOOOO smart, he has the treat ball figured out completely, the puzzle he is working on still. I am sure tomorrow he will have it down!
I am IN LOVE! He is so special!

Daphne- Jenna and Goliaths- born 3-11-11

can be! She is a wonderful dog and everyone who meets her is amazed by both her
beauty and her wonderful personality! She is such a sweet girl, we all just
love her!!! She loves playing fetch and is so smart, I can't believe how
quickly she is picking up new things!!! 3-11-11
Trudy -
Daphne is doing great! As you can probably see from the
attached pic, we are getting her groomed regularly, but have opted not to go
with a more traditional poodle cut (shaved face) for now. You can probably also
tell from the blurry tail that she is as happy as she can be!! I still can't
believe how easy she was to potty train! I don't even know what advice I would
give anyone who asked - she just seemed to figure it out pretty quickly on her
own and she just "got it". She is so very well behaved that it's hard to
believe she is still just 4 months old!!! The boys adore her, Patrick and I do
as well - we love coming home to her everyday!!
Thank you again for
everything!!

Coco- Lilly and Peter the Greats Born 11/27/09

saw the link for the new puppies and just had to look. I played the video of
the Pups and our beautiful Coco responded to your voice. I think she still
misses you and her puppy days at TLC. I wanted to share with you that Coco is
now over 1 year old and part of the family as if she has been here forever.
Your fine start that you gave her has made her an easy to train wonderful
companion for us and our little cairn Rosie. You would think they were
littermates the way they get on together. Thanks so much for the fine start you
gave our baby!

I hope this e-mail finds you well. The boys are doing well together and they seem to love each other more everyday. We are trying to establish some independence between the two so that means walking separately, eating separately and playtime separately. We will
begin obedience classes next week, I believe. They are getting bigger every
day. Ganache seems like he might turn a deep chocolate brown and Midnight is
developing a prominent white streak down the ridge of his back. These boys are
amazing and have transformed my life in such a positive way! We will send you more pictures especially as the summer approaches.
Bill - I think Ganache still misses you every day!
Thanks again and we are
happy to be in touch!

Jenna and Goliath May 2011

I saw on the website that you have new puppies!! Your house must be active now!
Wanted to give you a quick update on Gibbs. He is fantastic. Had a vet appointment last night and he weighs 24 lbs! How big is Goliath? I remember you telling me that Gibbs was the last of the litter and I was fine with that. I will definitely keep you posted on how big he gets and send pictures too! He was so quick to housebreak…only had one or two small accidents but now barks at the door when he has to go out! Loves playing with the other dogs in the neighborhood and he’s happy he’s not the smallest anymore.
Hope all is well at your house. Have a great summer and I will stay in touch!
Hi Trudy,
Just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that Gibbs is fabulous! It’s hard to believe that we have only had him for 2 weeks…seems like he has been part of the family forever! He is the funniest pup and oh so smart. Already knows sit, down and walks beautifully on a leash! He has his friends (a 90 lb Lab and 9 lb Cavachon) in the neighborhood that he plays with daily and sometimes he forgets he is a puppy. He has been doing so well with housetraining…only had one accident. We are so happy that we found you and Gibbs! Will continue to keep you posted.

Alex - Jenna and Peter the Great's 2010

I can put a treat in front of him and tell him to leave it and he knows that he can't have it until I say okay. He is doing good at sitting up and this has probably been the hardest for him to do balance wise. He is good at catching a ball or anything like food. My husband put a piece of food or a treat on his nose and makes him wait until he says okay. He goes for walks every day. You mention to him about going for a walk or in the car and he
is ready right now. The other day Dar put on his coat to go outside and Alex went to the door like "you're not going anywhere without me." He is getting well known around our little town as that is where we walk. We get compliments on him all the time. People want to know what kind of a dog is that. There are not many Standard Poodles around here. I guess there are a couple of white stndards close by but I have never seen them.
He is so handsome. Black curls and so soft. He looks like he is covered with black velvet. He has a beautiful thick coat that shines.
I look back at Dar before we got Alex and every time I would mention a poodle, he would roll his eyes. He and Alex are so close. He is lots of company for Dar when I go to work. I think most people see the poodles on the dog shows. Not Alex. He is all muscle and very athletic.
Again I am so glad that you saved him for us. We would be lost without him.
We will try and stop and visit sometime, I want you to see him. Thanks again and Bill this peanut comedian you called him, has grown into a big comedian. He weighs around 62 lbs and is between 24 and 25" high. Blessings to you all and your Family.

Ella- Lilly and Peter the Greats Daughter 2010

First, I'm sorry that it took me so long to get in touch with you. Secondly, thank you so much for a girl, Ella! She is the best puppy! Ella fit into our family like she has always been here. Out daughter, Jessica loves her and calls Ella her canine sister. I can't believe how good Ella is with a six year old. We brag about Ella all the time. Within a month, she was almost completely house broken. She does great on her walks and plays great with other dogs. Ella now knows how to sit, stay, leave it(treats that are placed in front of her until we say ok), lay down, out of the road, slow, shake. We are working on roll over. I know I'm bragging like Ella is the best dog ever.
Third, I'm sorry to hear about your missing dogs. I check your website periodically to see if they have been found. I'm really sorry because I think both of Ella's parents are missing. I still remember how sweet they both were when we met them.
Thank you again for such a great addition to our family! We absolutely love her. I will send pictures soon.

I hope you and the family are enjoying the fresh snow :) I just wanted to write and give you an update on Max,he is one of the best puppies we have had the joy to own.Max is very loving outgoing playful and just a joy to own.Max was 20lbs at his 12 wk check-up he is growing up so fast he already knows how to walk well on his leash mastered sit at 9wks old and we are currently working on down and down-stay while we are having dinner. He never jumps except when he gets worked up during play.Max is a perfect match for us he loves to go for walks daily and play in the huge backyard but is calm and settles down when in the house. He loves to go to park and wants everyone we meet to acknowledge him and see how well behaved he is (he sits and waits whining when people come over). He is a very fast learner (he has only had 5 accidents so far in the house). It is just a joy to have him in the family with us.He seems to have alot of the same attributes of his father Peter the great, He is one of the sweetest most well behaved puppies I have ever had the joy to know we love him so much...I would love to have another just like him :)
I hope you all love the pictures of Max and Benjamin playing in the snow they had a blast !!

Ben- Misty and Peter the Greats Son 2010
Hi Trudy, I pray that your dogs come back to you. I want you to have these pics of Ben. In them he is 8 months old and 60 pounds. He is such an athlete (loves chasing waves at the jersey shore) so beautiful and so loved. Thank you,

Ben
Bella- Jenna and Peter the Great's Daughter

I hope you are doing well. I just wanted to check in and let you know that Bella has truly been such a wonderful addition to our home.
She and Pumpkin (my cat) have become best friends and definitely keep each other entertained. And when you find one, the other is never very far away. Although I wasn't always so sure this was going to work out .... the introductions on day 1 were interesting to say the least lol.
From the very beginning she was very good with the crate training and was fully housebroken in a few weeks. She is already 30+ pounds at 4 months and the vet and groomer are head over heels for her. We will be starting obedience training at 6 months, although she is extremely intelligent and already has several basic tricks under her belt.
I have attached a few pictures for your enjoyment to show some of her stages (the day we came down to pick her up, a picture with Pumpkin, playing out in the yard, and finally what she looked like before and after her first grooming session at 4 months.)
Thanks again and take care.
Allison
Molly- Lisa and Alexander the Great little Girl

Hope all is well. Attached is a picture of
"Molly". She is now 30lbs . She is our baby and we love her very much. She sleeps in our king size bed with our our two toy poodles. She is a wonderful dog. She loves to ride in
the car and does extremely well when we go in the stores. She lays down on the
back seat and goes to sleep. She has been an extreme blessing to our family.
Wishing you and your family a Christ filled Thanksgiving and Christmas season.
May God's blessings be all your from the oldest member of your family to the
youngest may His presence be felt.

Remy- Misty and Peter the Greats Son

All is going very well with Remy. He had a very busy weekend. Friends and family stopped by Friday evening to meet him. Saturday morning was his vet appointment. All went well and we had him microchipped. Staff at the vets said they've seen standard poodles before, but this was the first time they saw a standard poodle puppy. Everyone LOVED him. We took him for a couple of walks over the weekend and he's doing quite well on a lead. He's already doing come and sit on command! Doug and I can't get over how intelligent he is! And he's an absolute joy to have! Such a snugglebunny. We've never had such an easily trainable dog. I've attached some photos of Remy with a ferret, lounging around the house and yard, and with our Grandaughter Lilly. Hope you enjoy them.
Will keep in touch.

Marcel
Here is Marcel at 8 months now. He is such a lovely creature. I want you to know that Marcel has turned out to be a fabulous watchdog for my home in addition to being a fine addition to our family. He really knows when to bark lowly and loudly, and I needed that living all alone out here in the country. He certainy guards me at night, too, by sleeping right at the foot of bed every single night.
We all love Marcel and we have to let you know how much joy he has brought to my family. He was a good guest at my mother's home, but then she always buys him special treats, and I do believe he knows her home for that reason.
In the spring, Marcel will begin agility classes at a reputable training school in State College. I think he will enjoy the chance to widen his abilities. We will let you know how he does with a new kind of skill, but if it is at all like his obedience classes, Marcel will be the #1 dog in his class again.
We hope you enjoy these pictures. Please note that we did not leave the ears on Marcel long, only for the picture. We believe in letting a dog be a dog.
We hope you continue to have such fine poodle puppies as we are sure to get another dog from you in the future. We think Marcel would like a playmate, perhaps a nice girl named "Elise". I am waiting to get Marcel 100% trained before taking on a new puppy, though.

11/2/10

Marcel is now 6 months and doing very well with us. He is now in the second session of dog obedience classes.
He went to a Trick for Treat dog Halloween party at the local pet store and then he went trick or treating with my son. He was William Shakespeare.
We surely hope you stay in business because if Marcel can live only 10 yrs, I will be at quite a loss without him and will not be able to cope without another dog fast.
I hope you like his costume. He really did not mind wearing it at all.

Phoenix and Falcon
In Service Dog School with
Susquahanna Service dog School

Just a quick note to let you know Phoenix and Falcon are doing VERY well. They are so polite and quick to learn (I knew that already which is why I volunteered for a poodle). We get together with Falcon regularly before class and Falcon has come to stay with us a couple of times when his family had to go away (and couldn't take him with them). This has been great for Phoenix since we no longer have our "own" dog - he passed away last winter and I am not ready to find a new one yet. Phoenix will be a great farm dog, he is friends with a pig litter, is becoming a playmate for our 2-week old Jersey calf, is polite with the chickens, and doesn't torment the cats too much. Actually he likes the cats but they really don't want to play with him. He loves when they bring him rodent presents. We are also working on city experiences with a friend who has a steady older dog as company around the noises etc. He seems to be doing fine. The only problem I have is he is toooo friendly, he gets soo excited when he sees people he can't wiggle hard enough. He has been losing teeth the past two weeks and i think he shot up about half a foot - all of a sudden he is like a uncoordinated spider. One of these days I will get photos organized and send them. Thanks for picking and providing these two really cool dogs!!!

9-15-10

Our little puppy Alex who just turned 5 months old now weighs 30 pounds. He has very strong muscles. Last night was our last puppy class and he had the highest score. 23 out of 25. Where he lost those two points was, he had to stay down for 3 minutes. He stayed down for 1 minutes and got up then was down for 2 minutes. I think he should have got 2 pts instead of 1. We didn't practice staying down that long and was not told that we needed to stay down that long. In fact in puppy class sometimes Alex would lay down 'cause he was bored and they wanted him to sit so he got use to sitting for a long time and the sit and stay portion of the test was only 2 minutes. No sweat for Alex. He is so much fun and really full of it at times. Last night he had the zoomies in the house and Dar and I got to laughing so hard that our sides hurt. He was something. We just finished a walk and I put him thru his paces so he is sleeping. Again we are so thankful that you kept Alex for us. You said you thought you had the perfect puppy for us and that was true.
Blessing to you and your family, Roberta

We wanted to let you know that Marcel is doing so well with me and my four sons. He is now 4 months old and such a joy! He has learned sit, stay, roll over, touch, off, and down. I believe he understands many other words, too, such as "snack" and "wanna eat". He also knows my sons' four names and "who's here"?. When he hears any noise outside, he will carefully alert us and walk from window to window peeking outside, and then I do reward him with a snack. He certainly will be a watchdog as well as our family's best and newest member. We love him to death.
As you know I had an issue with one bad trainer in the first session, and then I immediately filed a complaint and changed trainers. The new girl is so wonderful. We really are looking forward to our weekly classes. I have to say, though, that out of all the dogs in the class, Marcel is the smartest (and we think the most beautiful). He catches on with one try, while we watch the beagles, pomeranians, English cocker spanial, and even the golden retriever struggle to catch it. We sit around and laugh to ourselves as we know that Marcel is just the smartest animal on the planet, or at least we think so.
Everywhere we go in State College, people come up to us and ask us what kind of dog Marcel is and if they can touch him. They all then will comment on how soft his fur is. The local Austrian restaurant in town loves Marcel so much that whenever we walk by, the owner comes out and hands him a giant homemade Austrian sausage. Marcel loves to walk past that business! The local Dairy Queen has an outdoor patio where we like to sit so that Marcel can socialize and sun himself and pretend he is in Paris (home of some of his ancestors), and the owner comes out every visit and hands him a doggie biscuit. Marcel is also welcome at the Olive Garden and T.G.I.F. on their patios. He has learned to lie down patiently under our table while we eat.
We want to thank you again for giving us such a wonderful dog for our first dog.

Born 2-28-10

I just wanted to let you know that Charlie (formerly blue collar brown boy) that he has been doing very well. He knows how to sit, stand, down, wait, and walk on the leash. He also enjoys playing fetch, but we are still refining his technique. When he is a little older I am hoping to train him to detect low blood sugar.
Thank you,

Landon Quinlivan 7/10
Jenna and Petes Boy
Born 4-24-10

Landon gained five pounds in just over two weeks....... Here is a picture of him with his buddy on our recliner today. Tanner looks sad that he has to share. ;-)
P.S. Everyone that meets him comments either on how cute he is or how "good" he is for a puppy. Honestly! The Vet Tech. said that she wished all puppies were like him. People just don't realize how wonderful standard poodles are!!!!

Jenna and Petes Boy
born 4-24-10

Just wanted to let you know how our new puppy is doing! We FINALLY named him - LANDON DONOVAN QUINLIVAN , just Landon, is what we call him.
Passed his Vet visit (6/21) with flying colors. They thought he is adorable, such a fuss they made over him. Stool sample, absolutely clear. :-) Almost ten pounds and growing exponentially.
Attended his first social activity by going with Tanner to agility class this Monday evening. (To observe and be loved by dog lovers, only.) Sat like an angel in his crate, watched and learned.
He and Tanner are becoming best buddies. Play many hours out of the day. Potty training is going well. Maybe two more weeks and he'll be ~100%, I'm guessing. Sleeps through the night in his crate/domain.
Cats are adjusting, he likes to chase Simone (our siamese) and she does not care for this. He's learning not to do this and Simone is tolerating the issue.
Learning how to go outside on a leash and doing well.
We just love him, of course. He has adjusted very well to our house - pretty similar to yours minus many poodles.
I'll send pictures soon.

We thought you might like to see a Picture of our son now that he is over a year old. He is still gorgeous and has become a Big Boy. He stands 27 inches from floor to his shoulders. Everyone comments on his size and looks. We love him and we are enjoying him so much. His personality is wonderful. We are so happy that we found TLC by The Lake on the Web.

Ben- Misty and Pete's Born 2-18-10

Wow what a guy. My sons love him. He (Ben) is quite a character and very alpha male. He's competing with my sons for his place in the pack (leader is what he is shooting for). Very funny to watch. He loves me and tries his best to be obedient. I can not imagine your day with a house full of these brilliant puppies. His green eyes stop everyone that sees him. Love, Mary
Sophie-Molly and Cherokee's
Born 10-1-09

Hello, we just wanted to let you know that "Sophie" has settled in
quite nicely into her new home. Potty training has been pleasantly
easy with only a few easily corrected incidents. She is growing and
developing nicely with all of those "sweet poodle" qualities shining
through. We took her to the vet for her booster shots and just
yesterday, she had her first beauty salon appointment and behaved like
a perfect lady.
In addition to her development, she is extremely bright and
intelligent. Already, she has almost mastered the three basic
commands. (sit, lay down, stay, and come here). She has quickly
become one of the family and has made the transition to the new
addition quite painless.
Attached are a few photos of her for your enjoyment. Also, she LOVES
playing in the snow.
Thanks again and have a Merry Christmas and New Year.
Sincerely,
Kathryn Billian

Bentley Jenna and Petes puppy 9-09
Bentley is doing great and we've definitely bonded. He brings us so much joy and not to mention free entertainment. He's gotten so tall already but doesn't always have control of his limbs so he's fun to watch. He is pretty much house-trained as he hasn't had an accident in over a month now and we've been giving him more freedom in terms of places he can be in the house. He is very playful and affectionate. When I take him for walks everyone says how friendly and well-socialized he is.
Again, I can't tell you how thankful I am that you crate trained him before he came to us. He goes into his crate no problem and sleeps the whole night without needing to be let out or soiling his crate.
We had a scary night 2 weeks ago when we had to rush him to the emergency hospital. Our townhouse association put out rat poison in the neighborhood without telling us first. I was walking Bentley and saw that he had picked something up in his mouth. I didn't know what it was but found out later that it was rat poison. Although I took it out of his mouth I couldn't be 100% sure that he had not eaten anything so we still took him in to the vet to make sure. He is o.k. and all the tests came back normal. Phew!
He has been going to puppy kindergarten classes. While he excels at agility and the obstacle course, he is not very good at listening to me..or maybe I should say I'm not good at getting him to listen when other dogs are present. The trainers say I need to work more on establishing pack leadership so I've been really working on getting him to give eye contact with me on walks and also using "Nothing in Life is Free" training methods. He really has an alpha personality (tries to hump males and adult dogs!!!) so I'm working on making him understand his place in the pack. In another 3 weeks when he's fully vaccinated he'll be going to doggy daycare twice and week and to the dog park the other days so I'm hoping that will help him not be so dominant.
Thanks again for giving us a wonderful puppy.

Benny (Jenna & Peter the Greats)

He is doing so great! We love him so much. He weigh 51 pounds now and is as healthy as can be. He loves to chase our cats maybe a little too much but other than that he is just the sweetest thing. We will surely be dedicated customers of yours. We are still thinking that maybe in a couple of years we'd like to get another one. I also think we are your best advertising source. Everyone that is around Bennie loves him so much and we give them all the info on how to get one just like him! I do not have any more recent pictures right now but next time I do I will email you a couple of them. I hope all is well with you and your family. Have a great day!

Barkley and Roxy Churchey 4/20/09

Barkley was purched last year from our Parti litter he is awsome looking Brown/White Male and Roxy was just purched by the CHURCHEY Family this year 09' The look awsome together.
Jeeves "George"

Here are some pictures of Jeeves. We named him Jeeves. Jeeves is a butler in a series of books by P.G. Wodehouse, and this beautiful puppy is so sophisticated we thought that would be an appropriate name.
He is a wonderful, smart, well behaved dog and we let him sleep in the bed with us when he wants to. Thank you. It's snowy here and we just came back in. They love to be out in the snow. They ran and played and now (phew) they are napping. Hope all is well with you and all your babies! Pam
AKIO-(Lilly and Reno's)

Everyone has fallen in love with him. He is so cute. He is more than what I expected! He has been playing with all his new toys. Barking at the little dachshund mix to get her to play and they have been. Went potty outside. Had a bath to clean off all the dog slobbers. He is now sleeping on his new dog bed (as you will see) covered up with his new blanket surrounded by his toys (my son did that) He is wonderful. I can't thank you enough. And will keep you updated. Wolfgang
Autumn puppy

Trudy,
This little Wolfgang has turned our life in a new and wonderful direction, thank you.
Hi Trudy,
How goes everything with you? Wolfgang continues to grow and learn many new things and teach us a thing or two as well! Here are a couple of pics from his first hair cut... nothing too serious, just to get him used to the idea. The groomer did his face, feet, bottom and underside, leaving his body hair alone. She was overly impressed at how well-behaved and calm he was during the whole time on the table (we had a "mobile" groomer come to the house so as to not have
to leave him at a shop all day... he would miss his feeding, walk, etc.... not worth it... it took her about an hour). Actually,
everyone everywhere has said how wonderfully calm he is... I can't explain it other than to repeatedly thank you for this incredible gift. Most of the time, he is a little black lamb, full of love and affection... then there are the times when he becomes the BLT (black lamb of terror), LOL, running around like a wild one, barking (laughing) all the way. He certainly is a character!
Somedays, it does get "old" to have him attached to my hip (everywhere I go, he is right at my side or tangled up in my legs, smile) but I realize this is a good thing... he just wants to be in my life in every possible way. I'm anticipating when I can bring him to rehearsals but just not yet... still too young.

Testimonials
Trudy,
That puppy is amazing. I changed her name to Guinness. I drove her to my mother’s place in Cleveland Ohio. My mother instantly fell in love with her and who couldn’t resist her charms. My mother changed her name to Coco Channel and calls her Coco for short.
I know we are still having a little bit of trouble with the potty training but she is making strides at 10 weeks. On a side note, the Congressman that I work for called me into his office the last day that I was in DC in December and said “Matt, I think your dog is making a political statement against me” and I ran into his office and Coco was peeing on his carpet looking right at him. Kind of funny. She is such a great dog and is so smart.
I should say that my mother is taking great care of her but, I think Coco is the one running the show. She gets two long walks a day and lots of loving. She is also very expressive and often voices her concerns when she likes something or doesn’t.
Needless to say that I am very pleased and you sold us a wonderful dog. Our vet really was impressed with her as well. She is sooo smart.
So we usually always have two dogs at my Moms. I think I may be interested in another standard poodle puppy in about a year.
Anyways, I just wanted to thank you for this wonderful dog.
Matthew
